Sewage Water Disposal

Technology about water purification was discovered by the human hundreds years ago. One example of water purification technology is sewage disposal unit. Sewage disposal unit is consist of three main parts : settling tank, pump house, and sprinkler beds.

In the first of purifying process with sewage disposal unit, sewage is flown to the settling tank from main sewer . In the settling tank, sewage component will be separated in two form. The solid form called undecayed solids will move into the base of settling tank and then will be burned and removed. Next the liquid component called polluted water will be flown into pump house. In the pump house, polluted water will be pumped into sprinkler beds. In the splinker beds polluted water moves to the rotary arm which can directs the polluted water to the filtering zone. In the filtering zone, polluted water will be filtered from microorganism and stones. The result of this filtering process is purified water and will be flown into the river.

Tribute for Bogor

I am very proud become bogor civil, not only I was born in there but there are many reasons that support my statement.Before I tell my reasons, I will give some good information about Bogor City . Bogor, formerly Buitenzorg, city in western Indonesia, on western Java Island, near Jakarta. The city was founded by the Dutch in 1745.

The first reason is Bogor city has a presidential palace that is named Bogor Palace. Formerly this building is the Dutch Governor Genereal resident This building records much important event in Indonesian history. The last event is marriage ceremony Susilo Bambang Yuhhoyono- Indonesian number 1- oldest son on 2006.

The second reasons is Bogor city has famous botanical garden, Bogor Botanical Garden. This site was first used by the Dutch for introducing tropical plants from other parts of the world into the region. In 1817 it was converted into a botanical garden and served as a training ground for specialists in tropical botany. A large area of the original rainforest on which the garden was founded has been preserved in its natural state, providing excellent specimens for scientific study. The garden also has outstanding collections of palms, bamboos,orchids, and ornamental trees. Now, Bogor botanical garden is known as a great natural recreation not only for Indonesian people but also tourist in around the world.

The last but not least, I love this city because although Bogor city small in area’side but this city has give big contribution for Indonesian, not only in economy sector but also contribute in Indonesian Culture, and the biggest thing that Bogor city contribute in Environment campaign to make our world always ‘green’.
